Normal service will resume as soon as anyone announces a new gig we can tell you about. In the meantime, if you celebrated Christmas, we hope it was a good one.

We've got some new and interesting stuff in the Stargreen pipeline for 2008, about which more when it's ready to announce. Stay tuned.

PORTISHEAD's new album, titled THIRD, has 11 tracks and is 49 minutes 13 seconds long. It is released on April 14th 2008, which means that if you book tickets for their 10th April gig at Hammersmith Apollo (on sale Friday 9am) you could hear the new tracks four days early.

As Hammersmith sold out, PORTISHEAD have announced a second date. They'll be playing Brixton on 17th April, and tickets are available now.

NICK CAVE & The Bad Seeds release their 14th studio album DIG, LAZARUS, DIG! on 3rd March 2008. A month later, on 7th May, they play at the Hammersmith Apollo. Tickets on sale Friday.
